A sicerely over the top French dinner experience with all the decor, smells, and tastes one would expect from a premium French restaurant. The service was great. The food was incredible. And, the ambiance was off the charts. Well done... This restaurant is one of the main reasons it's always a good time to dine in France!

Le Train Bleu is a legend, immortalized by history and even a film scene with Mr. Bean. I had read the reviews before going, and I now understand why so many are negative. I was deeply disappointed by the service, especially at this price point. The atmosphere felt chaotic, more like a busy American chain restaurant than a historic brasserie. Waiters were constantly rushing past our table. I had requested a table with a better view for pictures, but we were seated in a corner next to a service cabinet. Staff worked frantically there, and at one point, a waiter carrying a large plate had meat juices dripping dangerously close to our clothes on the chair. While the interior is undeniably stunning—reminiscent of the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles or the Opéra Garnier—it cannot compensate for the poor experience. The food was merely fair and definitely not worth the premium price. If you've already visited the true Parisian landmarks it echoes, you don't need to visit this restaurant. In summary, Le Train Bleu feels like a tourist trap where you pay for the décor, not for quality service or food.

It's a stunning restaurant and a must do at least once. So beautiful. I've had much better food at my local french restaurant in Florida.. The leg of lamb was tough, the potatoes au gratin were boring, and the pineapple tart, not great. But the experience was worth it. I had a beautiful glass of Chablis that cost 27.00. That was not the price on the menu. The singing maitre'd was a lovely surprise. We ladies really enjoyed ourselves and it was a treat to experience this beautiful, historic restaurant.
